Cubby is a simple app for tracking where your tools are stored and who borrowed them. Add your tools, the places they live, and the friends you lend to — and always know where everything is.

Cubby is free to use during early access. If paid features are ever introduced, we'll make that clear well in advance.

Yes. Lending and borrowing happen between Cubby accounts, so a friend needs the app and an account to receive a tool.

Yes. Your inventory is stored on your device, so you can browse and make changes offline. Everything syncs automatically once you reconnect.

Only you, by default. A tool becomes visible to a friend only when you mark it lendable and that person is an approved friend.

Tools you've lent are marked as “owner left” for the borrower, who can choose to keep them. After a short grace period the records are removed.

Cubby runs on Android today, with more platforms planned.
